Stone of the month March: Aquamarine
Gemstones have not only a material value. The month of birth determines which stone can accompany us through life as a source of strength. These birthstones, it is said, have very individual properties that can have a strengthening effect on their wearer.
The aquamarine belongs to the beryl family. The name aquamarine comes from the Latin aqua marina "sea water". The wonderful blue color is caused by traces of iron. Aquamarine is found on all continents, including Brazil, USA, Madagascar and Kenya.
The name "Santa Maria Aquamarine" stands for an impressive and intense blue, named after the legendary mine "Santa Maria de Itabira" in Ceará, Brazil.
AQUAMARINE - effect as a healing stone
Aquamarine is said to represent health, love, self-confidence, as well as stamina and endurance. It can help to clear confusions and thus promote spiritual growth and vision.
How did today's birthstones generally come about? To cope with the multitude of monthly stones, the Jewelers of America (a non-profit jewelry association) created an overview with the months and the corresponding reference minerals in 1912.
Star sign Pisces 20.02. - 20.03.
Pisces are known for grace and creativity, along with a heightened sense of sympathy and a sensitive streak. Few zodiac signs have as good a gut feeling as Pisces. These people are characterized by a unique and particularly good intuition. They usually do not think rationally, but let themselves be guided by their feelings. In addition, they are also considered to be very good listeners.
